This unique curved tube design makes it easy to insert and remove long TEE probes. The heavy-duty stainless steel safety cage protects against tube and probe damage. The soaking station ships standard with two tubes, one for high-level disinfection and the other for initial rinse. An optional third tube is available for soaking two probes simultaneously. Final rinsing should be done in accordance with the disinfectant manufacturer’s recommendation. Each tube holds less than one quart of disinfectant, as compared to two gallons used in conventional soaking bowls. This amounts to a savings of 45.5 gallons of disinfectant per year.
