Hip and pelvis fixation creates serious challenges for radiation therapists. The hip and pelvis seminar examines the history, challenges and current methods of hip and pelvis positioning and immobilization.
The course contains several hands-on demonstrations of new and innovative techniques for positioning and immobilization of this challenging anatomical area.
After this seminar participants will be able to:

Recognize the direction of future hip and pelvis positioning and immobilization techniques and devices and their impact on quality radiation therapy
