Posifix® System
The Posifix head and neck positioning system is composed of several items. One can choose from different baseplates, varying from a basic acrylic head baseplate to a more sophisticated carbon fiber IMRT baseplate that accommodates a wide variety of head, neck and shoulder masks. The carbon fiber baseplates have minimal beam attenuation and are therefore ideal for use in the treatment room. Acrylic baseplates are used in the mould room, simulator or CT scanner.
