Precise Bite™ Patient Re-Positioner

The Precise Bite attaches easily to a thermoplastic cast and conforms to the teeth and/or maxilla, decreasing head and neck rotation, flexion and extension. The Precise Bite with tongue depressor assists in tongue displacement and provides an airway opening for easy breathing.

The positioner softens in warm water, then comfortably conforms to the patient’s dental contours. After the dental positioner is set, a thermoplastic cast is pulled over the patient, and the Precise Bite docking plate simply snaps on top to secure the Precise Bite to the mask. The Precise Bite is compatible with Uni-frame^®, Type-S^™ and Posicast^™ thermoplastics.

The Precise Bite warmer allows you to soften a Precise Bite without a microwave or a large waterbath.

Shoulder Retractor

The Shoulder Retractor is often used in conjunction with thermoplastic-based fixation systems. Retraction is especially beneficial for shoulder clearance when opposing lateral fields are used to treat the neck. The Shoulder Retractor is constructed of PVC plastic with a large footboard and nylon tension ropes with a ball-in-socket locking feature that allows for reproducible tension in 1/2" increments. A shoulder retractor is also available as an option on the Combifix™ and Feetfix™ Couch Support.
