SRS Patient Fixation & Localization Kit
CIVCO is a pioneer in frameless stereotactic radiosugery, the developer of pReference® Point Reference System – the only frameless SRS system using implanted fiducials for submillimeter accuracy.
pReference uses three pure gold markers, permanently implanted in the skull, as a fixed reference system for accurate patient setup. The pReference localization software calculates the precise, submillimeter couch shifts necessary to move the target to the isocenter just prior to treatment delivery. Rigid patient immobilization is accomplished with a custom-formed headrest and a Type-S™ IMRT Reinforced Thermoplastic™ mask.
