Max 4000 Electrometer
The Max 4000 Electrometer is a superior instrument for accurate measurement of an extremely wide range of all brachytherapy sources, low dose rate, high dose rate and cardiovascular. It is versatile enough to be used for all external beam and diagnostic imaging applications.
A built in digital filter eliminates the effect of noise, resulting in a stable and exact measurement. The amp, coulomb and collection time can be displayed simultaneously. The Max 4000 is easy to use with features like a straightforward intuitive user interface, user-activated automatic zeroing, and an easy-to-read large LCD display.
The MaxComm software, included with all MAX 4000 purchases assists with: record keeping, automatic calculations, remote electrometer control and data export in Excel format.
Applications
Brachytherapy: Due to exceptional sensitivity and a wide dynamic range, the MAX 4000 is ideal for all brachytherapy measurements. It provides immediate measurements of even the lowest activity isotopes (e.g. a signal of 1.458pA for a 0.27mCi Iodine seed) and can also measure 10Ci and higher Iridium sources.
External Beam: The Max 4000 accommodates all ion chambers typically used for data acquisition in water phantoms and routine quality assurance tests.
Diagnostic Radiology: Max 4000 is ideally suited for all mammographic, conventional radiology and CT applications.
