The TEE Transducer Holder features stable positioning of TEE transducers in a fixed location for extended periods of time, offering physicians added efficiencies and ergonomics in the imaging environment. The TEE Holder enables physicians to freely place and hold TEE transducers in a fixed position, allowing for small active adjustments of the TEE view without having to hold the transducer. Use of the holder allows the transducer to be held upright to reduce unnecessary strain on the corner of the patient’s mouth. When placed in the holder, the transducer does not obstruct other equipment. Additionally, the transducer’s control unit is protected against both mechanical damage and exposition of fluids such as saline and blood. The TEE Holder features a stable a single-arm fixation with a single-point locking mechanism to quickly and easily lock the holder into position. The TEE Holder is fully adjustable by both height and angle and features complete flexibility of movement in every direction so it can be easily adapted to individual patients. The TEE Holder can be used with the CIVCO Assist™ Radiolucent Stretcher, IV Poles, Table Adapter or Rail Adapter and will attach to most tables or surgical rails. Additionally, the Holder will accommodate attachments such as blood pressure receptor holders. The TEE Holder is ideal for use by anesthesiologists, surgeons, cardiologists and clinical physiologists. It also works well for cleaning and storage of TEE transducers. To clean the TEE Holder, wipe all surfaces with germicidal wipes or alcohol.
